Upgrading CCTV at Bangor City Stadium
Bangor City Stadium, a key sports venue in Gwynedd, was set to host an important European match. The stadium’s outdated analogue CCTV system was no longer fit for purpose, and a complete overhaul was required—quickly. The task included removing the old system, installing a modern IP-based system, and ensuring seamless integration with live streaming capabilities via mobile app.
Our Solution
Our team worked tirelessly to deliver a comprehensive upgrade within a tight timeframe. Here's what we accomplished:
Installed a Full IP System: A cutting-edge network video recorder (NVR) now supports the new system, offering high-quality video footage with improved reliability and scalability.
17 New Cameras: We strategically placed a mix of cameras to maximize coverage:
A Three In One camera with built-in siren and warning lights for proactive security.
12 vandal-proof dome cameras for robust coverage of key areas.
A bullet camera overlooking the 3G pitch to capture clear, uninterrupted footage.
Cameras connected via wireless radio links to ensure full coverage in challenging locations.
Starlink Satellite Broadband: To facilitate uninterrupted live streaming via the mobile app, we integrated Starlink satellite broadband, ensuring high-speed and reliable connectivity even during peak usage.
